Baghirbeyli was a village in the territory of the Zangezur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gorus district, and currently in the Syunik province. It was located 21 km to the southeast of Gorus. It was marked on the five-verst map of the Caucasus. The village was inhabited by 836 Azerbaijanis in 1907.

The village was attacked by Armenian armed formations in 1918 and the Azerbaijanis were ousted from their historical and ethnic lands. The village was abolished in 1920. At present, it is in ruins.

The toponym was coined by adding the identifying suffix “-li” to the personal name “Baghirbey” and means “a village belonging to Baghirbey”.
