Allar was a village in the territory of the Zangezur uezd of the Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gorus district, and currently in the Syunik province. The village was located on the left bank of the Bazarchay, 5 km to the northeast of the village of Tatev. The village was solely inhabited by Azerbaijanis. It was abolished in 1914.
The toponym was coined on the basis of the name of the Alar Turkic tribe.
