Aghapli was a village in the territory of the Zangezur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gorus district, and currently in the Syunik province. The village was located 23 km to the northeast of the village of Gorus. It was marked on the five-verst map of the Caucasus. At present, the village lies in ruins.

The toponym is coined on the basis of the multi-generational family name.
