Gozalli is a ravine in the Novo-Bayazid uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Chambarak (Krasnoselsk) district, and currently in the Gegharkunuk province. It is located to the east of Tokhluja (Drakhtik) village.
The toponym was formed by adding the suffix “-li” to the word “gozal”, used to mean “a watery, green place, meadow” in Azerbaijani.
