Duzler

Duzler was a winter pasture located in the territory of the Gazakh uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Shamshaddin (Berd) district, and present-day Tavush province. It was dissolved in 1930.

The toponym was coined by adding the suffix “-ler” to the word “duz” which indicates a relief used in the sense of “a plain, steppe” in Azerbaijani.
