Deveyataghi

Deveyataghi was a summer pasture located in the territory of the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Hamamlı (Spitak) district, and present-day Lori province. It is located in the territory of the village of Giziloren (Shenavan).

The toponym was coined by combining the animal name “deve” (a camel) and the word “yatag” used in the sense of “a cattle shed, a place where animals are kept in autumn and winter”.
