Chelebiyurd is a winter pasture located in the territory of the Gazakh uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Karvansara (Ijevan) district, and present-day Tavush province.

The toponym was coined by combining the tribal name “Chelebi” and the word “yurd”.
