“I was born in 1940 in Gollu village of Amasiya district. Until the deportation, the people of our region were engaged in cattle breeding. They did not give us any property when we were deported. There was a news about the resettlement of Azerbaijanis in the Soviet Armenia newspaper. Later, in 1988, they began to evict us. We gathered at the Turkish border. We could not go to the city. A general came from Tbilisi and took us back to our village. After staying for 2-3 days, we left the village once and for all.”
